Dan Giordano
President and founder of GIO Technologies
Ensuring that the "GIO way" focuses on core strategy, infrastructure and support, GIO President, Dan Giordano, is in charge of overseeing GIO's day to day operations and client relationships. Dan built GIO with a massive 15 years of experience in the IT industry, along with a degree in Business Information Systems from Stevenson University. A Microsoft Certified Professional, Dan also holds Certified Systems Administrator and Engineer status.
With prior appointments including Associate Vice President of Information Technology and Director of IT for a technology group, Dan's experience enables him to focus on providing business value through technology systems and automation. Resulting in GIO's unique managed service approach that allows clients to focus on their business rather than technology.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys a round of golf, spending time with his wife and two children, and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens.

Auggie Plitt
Systems Administrator
Auggie Plitt comes to GIO with a degree in Information Systems from UMBC, and five years experience as an IT specialist and computer technician. Auggie also holds a Certificate in Network Administration. As Systems Administrator, Auggie is responsible for server builds and network upgrades, and assists clients with their projects.
When not at work, Auggie is an avid cyclist, and also enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife.

Greg Moretz
Help Desk Administrator/Business Development
Greg Moretz brings to GIO experience in IT consultancy for Financial Centers and Mortgage Companies and an education from the University of Maryland College Park. Greg is responsible for general help desk duties, software installation, hardware repair, customer support, and network and server support. Greg is also instrumental in new business development.
When not cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, Greg enjoys playing golf, lacrosse and spending time with his wife and son.

Dan Atkins
Help Desk Administrator
As GIO's Help Desk Administrator, Dan is your go-to-guy for customer support, network and server support, software installation and hardware repair. Adding to his two years of IT industry experience as a junior hardware engineer, Dan is currently studying Information Systems at UMBC.
When not working or studying, Dan can be found indulging in endurance mountain bike racing.

Lara Giordano
Office Manager
With a Business Communications degree from Stevenson University, and previous positions held in business and marketing, Lara Giordano brings valuable knowledge and experience to her role as GIO Office Manager. Lara is responsible for accounting functions for GIO and also a key player for marketing initiatives. Lara was instrumental in the recent rebranding of GIO which included the new logo design.
Outside of work Lara enjoys spending time with her family and making custom cakes for different events.
